The organisation started its activities in Kherson in 2019. It all started with a small eco-store and grew into regular meetings at the eco-club, organisation of exhibitions, seminars, lectures, and later into large-scale educational work. In early 2022, Ecological News became a member of the Zero Waste Alliance Ukraine. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the organisation’s members left their hometown and expanded their activities to other cities in Ukraine, as well as focusing on the post-war recovery of the Kherson region.
